Casting for the upcoming show: Kaleidoscope - Journey through a spectrum of emotions.

MJ Theatre Productions is seeking actors for Kaleidoscope: Journey through a spectrum of emotions, a show of eight original short plays exploring the many facets of the human experience. From laughter and love to grief, fear, hope, and everything in between, this fully staged production offers a wide variety of memorable roles.

Important Location Information
GPS directions for 6280 S. Ash Lane may take you to the Maralago Cay Sales Office. This is NOT where auditions will take place.
Auditions and performances will be held at the Maralago Cay Clubhouse, located at the end of the main entrance road off 5th Avenue. Please continue past the Sales Office, through the main gate, to the Clubhouse.
We're Looking For
Actors of all experience levels to portray a variety of characters ranging in age from 20s through their 60s–70s. Some actors may be chosen for multiple roles.
Audition Information
Saturday, August 29, 2026
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Be prepared to stay up to an hour)
Please prepare:

A 1–2 minute monologue showcasing your very best (comedic or dramatic)

A headshot and résumé, if available

A list of all rehearsal conflicts
Actors may also be asked to participate in cold readings from the scripts.
Rehearsals

First Read-Through: Thursday, September 10

Rehearsals begin immediately following the read-through.

Rehearsals each week will generally be:

1–2 weeknights (both in person and via Zoom)

Saturday mid/mornings/afternoons

Tech Week: November 16–20
Rehearsal dates are scheduled with flexibility for conflicts when possible. Tech week and show dates/times are essential to the production.
Actors selected will be compensated, payout expected to be modest.
